Kristianstad’s Badrike is located in southern Näsby, about 1,4 kilometers from the city center. The facility is easily accessible on foot or by bike, bus or car.

By train

Kristianstad is accessible by train from nearby cities such as Malmö and Copenhagen. Please consult Skånetrafiken regarding prices and departures.

Kristianstad’s Train station is called Kristianstad C.

By bus

Badriket is accessible from Kristianstad C by several buses.

City bus 1 stops at Rosengårsvägen, a 10-minute walk away from Badriket.

City bus 4 stops at Badriket, right in front of the facility’s entrance.

Both the regional buses 545 and 550 stop at Härlovsängaleden, a 10-minute walk away from Badriket.

By car

The nearby area offers several different car parks. The parking associated with Badriket is free of admission for 4 hours but requires the use of a parking-disc. Badriket’s car park offers 4 spaces next to the entrance which are reserved for disabled individuals.

By bike

Badriket is only 10 minutes away by bike from Kristianstad C.

By walking

Badriket is about a 20-minute walk away from Kristianstad C.

Locker room

Visitors by the pool area must have changed into swimwear, whether their intensions are to swim or not. Badriket provides several locker rooms, in which visitors can change and get dressed as well as keep their belongings.

Storage

A private locker is provided for each guest. When paying the admission fee, you are given a key in a wristband which you use for your individual locker. A lost key will result in a 125 kr fine.

Locker rooms

  • It is possible that both male and female staff might work in any locker room.
  • One locker room is gender neutral, where the showers are divided into individual stalls. This locker room is also equipped with a ceiling lift.
  • Visitors to the relax get changed in the associated locker rooms on the second floor. Visitors to the relax are provided with towels and bathrobes.
  • Shower chairs as well as highchairs for children are available in every locker room. The showers have non-slip mats and a hair dryer is available in every locker room.
  • A sauna is available for use in the locker rooms to visitors of the water park.

Shower before entering the pools

  • In order to keep the water of the pools clean we ask that visitors wash thoroughly before entering the pools.
  • It is not permitted to wear underwear underneath swimwear.

Accessibility

The facility should be accessible by all. As such, we offer a modern swimming pool complex accessible by mobility restricted as well as visually impaired individuals.

Personal assistants

Personal assistants accompanying a disabled individual are not required to pay admission. The personal assistant must show their certificate in the reception and comply with the same rules and codes of conduct as any other visitor.

Wheelchair

Wheelchairs are permitted in the deignated locker room and can be parked in a specific area. Bath chairs and gurneys are available in the the locker room. We lend wheel covers, about 24–26 inches.

Wheelchair accessible toilets

Badriket has several wheelchair accessible toilets spread throughout the facility.

Locker room

All locker rooms are made accessible. One locker room is gender neutral and equipped with a ceiling lift.

Pools

Mobility impaired visitors can easily access the pools through an elevator platform, ceiling lift or portable lift. Please notify the reception if you need help operating the specific equipment.

Elevators

Water slides, dive tower as well as the relax are accessed by both stairs and elevator.

Hearing aids

Hearing aids are available in the reception. Any announcement through the facility’s speaker system is done in Swedish. The fire alarm sound an automatic warning in Swedish as well as English.

Safety standards

By following the rules of the facility, each guest in turn ensures an enjoyable visit for themselves and their fellow guests. Would a question arise during your visit, please contact our staff. The reception is always staffed, and other staff members are often available throughout the facility.

Adult responsibility

As an adult you are fully responsible for any accompanying children, and you are expected to provide continuous supervision towards these children.

Children without adult supervision must be at least 12 years of age to enter as well as able to swim, which means that the child can swim 200 meters in deep water. All who cannot swim should be accompanied by an adult who can swim and who will provide supervision.

Swimwear and shower

Visitors to the water park, relax and remaining pool complex must change into swimwear whether their intentions are to swim or not. Acceptable swimwear includes swimsuit, bikini, burkini and swim shorts.

Shower before you enter the pools or sauna. Soap is available in all showers.

Water diapers are obligatory for small children.

Drown alarm

A drown alarm is located by the exercise and hot water pool which will notify the staff in case of emergency. Staff members will assist in the event of drowning.

Your own food

You are allowed to bring your own food and eat it in the designated area by the exercise pool. Glass articles are not allowed.

We provide a microwave.

Strollers and pushchairs

Strollers are parked indoors to the right from the entrance doors. They are not permitted in the locker rooms or in the remaining facility.

No electronics

Badriket does not permit the use of mobile phones, iPads or computers within the facility.

No smoking

Smoking and drug use is not permitted within the facility. You are not allowed to drink your own alcohol on the premise.

Staff

The staff is always nearby and available, if any questions arise during your visit.

By paying the admission fee or booking one of our activities you accept our rules and codes of conduct. Follow the staff’s instructions, as they are there to create a safe, secure and pleasant environment. Visitors who violate our rules and codes of conduct or by any means jeopardize their own or anybody’s safety can be forced to leave the premise. Admission to the complex is non-refundable and will not be reimbursed.
