Visit the museum. The museum offers historical guided tours at 14 on 10, 13 and 15 January.

Permanent exhibitions about the city of Kristianstad and the Scania (Skåne) landscape in which Kristianstad is located. Inside the museum you will find the restaurant Café Mirò. The museum offers historical guided tours at 14 on 10, 13 and 15 January. The tour starts outside the museum (Östra Storgatan 27b). Free admission on both the museum and the guided tours.

Filmmuseet - The film museum

Sweden's first film studio is in Kristianstad.

Sweden's first film studio is in Kristianstad. It has been preserved and restored to its original condition from 1909. Today it is a museum. On January 14, the museum is open 12-17 with guided tours at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. The guided tour lasts 20 minutes.

Naturum Vattenriket

Naturum Vattenriket - just a few minutes walk fråm the city centre.

The naturum Vattenriket visitor centre has informative displays and nature interpreters to tell you about the birds, fishes and insects that are characteristic of the area. You can also take part in a variety of fascinating activities here, or simply relax with coffee and cakes and enjoy the view.

From the visitor centre it’s easy to get to the 21 designated visitor sites in Kristianstads Vattenrike. Naturum is also the starting point for several hiking trails. The Linnérundan trail is the most popular one and is 6 km.

In 2005 Kristianstads Vattenrike was awarded biosphere reserve status and is the oldest of the seven biosphere reserves in Sweden.

Badriket is Kristianstad's bathhouse with pools for exercise, play and relaxation. Visit us with the family to ride the water slides and have fun. Visit us to exercise in our swimming pools or visit us to relax in our different types of saunas and hot water pools.

Open daily. The times vary in the different pools. Contact us for more information or visit our website.

Feel free to rent the hot water pool for rehab training and recovery. The pool can be booked per hour by a handball team or larger group.

Also feel free to rent the entire relaxation area to a handball team. SEK 12,500/h for at least three hours. There is room for 75 people. Usually the age limit is 18, but that is decided by the person renting the relaxation area.

Holy Trinity Church

How many windows does the church have? Count all the small panes!

The large 17th-century church is located between Stora Torg and the railway station. Holy Trinity Church was built 1618-1628. The originator was the Danish king Christian IV, who wanted a magnificent cathedral in his new city.The church is a fine example of the Christian IV architectural style and is often referred to as "Northern Europe's most beautiful Renaissance temple". The church is open daily (Mon-Sun) between 10.00-16.30.
