Sustainable development
The Municipality of Kristianstad works actively on environmental issues with the stated aim of creating a great living environment for everyone.

For example, work is underway to make Kristianstad a fossil-fuel-free municipality. You can study our programme and see what we have achieved. Kristianstad is the only municipality in Sweden that has been allocated governmental support for environmental investments four years in a row.
