Terms & Conditions

All successful accommodation bookings result in a confirmation email issued by kristianstad.se/hotel & room bookings. It's the responsibility of the client to contact Destination Kristianstad if they do not receive a confirmation email. Please contact touristinfo@kristianstad.se

Once the booking is confirmed, the following Terms and Conditions govern the client:
Your reservation is made directly with your chosen accommodation venue. By confirming your reservation you are entering into a contract with this accommodation venue. Unless otherwise stated in the rate description, your credit card details are used only to secure your booking. No money will be deducted from your account at the booking stage. You will pay the hotel in full when you check out of your hotel. And then you can choose to pay by cash or with your credit card.

Should you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so at www.kristianstad.se/turism
Unless otherwise stated in the cancellation terms, you may cancel your booking for free up to 05.00 p.m. the day prior to arrival. For cancellations made after this time, your credit card will be debited with an amount equivalent to one night’s stay.
All reservations made on www.kristianstad.se/turism are issued with a confirmation reference number. You must take this with you to the hotel. You will find this number on your hotel confirmation email. If you mislay this number please email touristinfo@kristianstad.se for assistance.
 
The room rate quoted at the time of securing your booking is the price you will pay per night for your accommodation on departure. Any discrepancies should be addressed to touristinfo@kristianstad.se
 
You are responsible for paying in full for any ancillary services that the hotel provides, which are not explicitly covered by the quoted room rate (e.g. Room service, newspapers etc.) Should you decide to alter the arrangements within the contract made with the hotel, the hotel will do its best to accommodate such arrangements, but shall not be held liable if it should fail to do so.
 
How do I reserve my hotel room?
You can reserve your hotel room in four fast and simple steps:
1. Make an initial online search for the dates required.
2. Compare the hotel offers available for these dates and choose the hotel that suits you.
3. Complete the online booking form.
4. Keep a copy of your booking confirmation email.

Why do you need my credit card details?
Your credit card details are usually only necessary to secure and confirm your booking. Once you have entered your credit card details and completed the online booking form you will receive a confirmation e-mail, which contains your booking confirmation number. Your credit card will not be charged right now. Payment is made at the hotel.

How many days in advance do I have to cancel my booking?
You may cancel anytime up to 5.00 p.m. the day prior to arrival. No cancellation charge applies unless you cancel after this time. For cancellations made after this time, your credit card will be debited with an amount equivalent to one night’s stay.
 
How does the cancellation process work?
Should you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so at kristianstad.se/turism before the time stated on your confirmation. In order to complete a cancellation, you will need your confirmation number, a personal user ID and a password as listed on your booking confirmation form. This number will enable you to cancel your booking quickly and efficiently.
Your cancellation will be confirmed by email. If you do not receive this email please contact touristinfo@kristianstad.se

Secure Booking Payment Procedure
When making a hotel booking, your personal and payment information is entered on to secure pages and these details are encrypted to ensure confidential transmission.
You can choose to pay by cash, or by using a different credit card to the one you gave when you booked.
Your credit card details are only necessary to secure and confirm your booking. Once you have entered your credit card details and completed the online booking form on www.kristianstad.se/turism you will receive confirmation e-mail containing your booking confirmation number.
There is no charge for using hotel booking function.
